Celeb: Defiance Actress Jaime Murray Gives Us The Dirt On SyFy's New Show - Gamerhubtv

We spoke with actress Jaime Murray about dirty iPads, the Defiance video game and her portrayal of alien Stahma Tarr in SyFy highly anticipated Defiance TV series.

Jaime Murray (born 21 July 1977) is an English actress, best known for playing Stacie Monroe in the BBC series Hustle (2004–2007; 2012) and Lila West in season two of the Showtime series Dexter (2007). She is also known for her recurring roles as Grace Valentine in The CW's Valentine (2008–2009), as Helena G. Wells in SyFy's Warehouse 13 (2010–2012), as Gaia in the Starz series Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (2011) and as Olivia Charles in The CW series Ringer (2011–2012). She will star as Stahma Tarr in the upcoming Syfy series Defiance.

Defiance Overview:

The series takes place sixteen years later in 2046, and largely revolves around the character of Joshua Nolan. Nolan was only ten years old when the Votans arrived in 2013 and he served in the military during the war. With the war now over, he returns to his hometown of St. Louis to find that it is no longer the city he left; it is little more than a border town renamed "Defiance". Deciding that his services are needed, Nolan takes up a position as the Chief Lawkeeper in Defiance, so he can protect the town from dangerous clashes between humans and aliens, military scavengers and other dangerous visitors who occasionally enter the town.
