Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes - Official Trailer
Today, Netflix released the trailer for the new Norwegian vampire drama comedy Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes. The series will premiere globally on Netflix on August 25.
Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes is directed by internationally acclaimed Harald Zwart and written by up-and-coming writer Petter Holmsen.
The show begins when Live Hallangen is declared dead. Hours later she suddenly wakes up on the forensic table. A dark, insatiable hunger has awoken in her. Meanwhile, her brother Odd tries to keep the family driven funeral home afloat, but the stagnant death rate in the small Norwegian town of Skarnes makes it impossible. Live has to learn to control her new dangerous nature and decide if she is willing to sacrifice people’s lives for her own survival, which ironically goes hand in hand with the survival of the family business.
The cast of Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes includes Kathrine Thorborg Johansen (Live), Elias Holmsen Sørensen (Odd), Andrée Sørum (Reinert), Kim Fairchild (Judith), Sarah Khorami (Rose) and Terje Strømdahl (Arvid).

Award-winning Lucy Lawless, best known as Xena: Warrior Princess, now takes the lead in one of Australia’s most popular crime dramas: My Life is Murder. Now the first series of this entertaining show is set for its UK DVD release from Acorn Media International and is also streaming from today on Acorn TV.
Pre-Order from https://amzn.to/3wUft8d
Lucy Lawless (Parks and Recreation) is retired cop Alexa Crowe, but her ex-boss (Bernard Curry – Once Upon a Time) is persistently on her case to help with cold cases and rookie police data-analyst (Ebony Vagulans) is hassling Alexa to be her mentor… so her detective days may not be over just yet.
When she’s asked to investigate the case of a woman who had fallen from the 19th floor apartment of a male escort called Dylan Giroux, she’s desperate to know did she fall, or was she pushed? It doesn’t take long for Alexa to be back in the game, putting her crime-solving nous to good use as an intrepid private investigator.
Tenacious and unapologetic, Alexa brings her dry wit and brash style as she contends with a suspicious death at a competitive culinary school, a murder in an exclusive cycling club, a locked-room mystery, and more.
