The six-part documentary follows Academy Award contender Stanley Tucci as he travels across Italy in search of the country's various cuisines' secrets and delights.
Tucci explores a different province or city in Italy in each episode, demonstrating viewers how the diversity of Italian cooking provides a window into Italy's history and culture. He comes with a voracious hunger for everything, from Rome's sumptuous creamy carbonara to Sicily's wonderful simplicity in pasta alla Norma, Milan's saffron-infused silkiness in risotto, and Naples' world-class pizza.
