Celebrity Juice Cancelled!

After an incredible 26 series on ITV2, the multi award-winning Celebrity Juice is going out on a high! The outrageous, channel defining panel-show which has been hosted for 14 years by the one and only Keith Lemon, is to conclude later this year with two fantastic farewell specials celebrating all of Juice's maddest moments.

The BAFTA and National Television Award-winning programme, which has almost 300 episodes, has seen Keith playing the craziest games and sharing the biggest laughs on-camera with stars like Ed Sheeran, Pamela Anderson, and Will Mellor. Celebrity Juice was founded by Keith and the original team captains Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton back in 2008. In season 24, the amazing Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore assumed the role permanently, but Juice had a fantastic cast of team captains prior to that, including Gino D'Acampo, Mel B, Paddy McGuinness, and Kelly Brook.

Keith Lemon said:
"I remember doing the first episode thinking wow that was fun! In the V/O in opening titles I said it was the best telly show on telly. Whatever you thought of it, it was definitely the best fun making it. An amazing team, and amazing guests, but all good things must come to an end. I'll miss it, and everyone so much, but on to the next chapter and I look forward to going out in style on the specials! All t' best and good luck with ya business!"

The Lovers, a new Sky drama starring Johnny Flynn and Roisin Gallagher

Sky have announced the start of production for upcoming drama, The Lovers, starring Johnny Flynn (Beast, Emma) and Roisin Gallagher (The Fall, The Dry).

Following Seamus (Flynn), a handsome, conceited political broadcaster with what appears to be the ideal London life and a celebrity girlfriend, and Janet (Gallagher), a foul-mouthed, hilarious, Belfast supermarket worker who couldn't give a shit about anything much at all, including her life, the series contrasts their characters' lives.

Therefore, when Seamus abruptly enters Janet's world (literally over the wall and into her backyard), they clash right away but also discover that they are irresistibly drawn to one another.

This sensual, humorous, and combative love story, which is set in Belfast, is about two people who seem to be completely unsuited for one another but might actually be.

The series also stars Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones, Holding) as Janet's supermarket boss, Philip.

Miriam: Death of a Reality Star - Coming to Channel 4

Ch4 have commissioned a new 3 x 60 documentary series telling the story of Miriam Rivera, the world's first trans reality tv star, covering their life, death, and extraordinary legacy.

The series will reinstate Miriam as the protagonist of her own narrative—a trans trailblazer who is still widely regarded as an idol in the transgender community—using her own words and voice throughout.

There's Something About Miriam from 2004 stood out in a crowded field as one of the most contentious reality series of the early 2000s. Six gullible men competed to win the love of Miriam Rivera, a stunning supermodel from Mexico, in a lavish Ibiza villa. Miriam didn't tell the boys she was born as a male until the very end of the final episode.

What followed was global infamy and a tabloid savaging, and fifteen years later Miriam was tragically found dead in her mother's apartment in an apparent, (though disputed), suicide.

Miriam: Death of a Reality Star: is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary time in television history, this series will look at Miriam's life before, during and after reality TV fame.

Drawing on rich archive and with exclusive access to Miriam's family and close friends from the trans community, each episode will take the audience into the colourful worlds she inhabited – from New York drag ballroom to the streets of Mexico; trans porn to international escorting.

And running throughout will be the stranger-than-fiction, behind the scenes story of the show itself – its genesis, production and its fallout - at a time when attitudes to trans people were very different to today.

Ten Pound Poms - Sarring Michelle Keegan, Faye Marsay and Warren Brown

Michelle Keegan (Brassic; Our Girl), Faye Marsay (Game Of Thrones; Black Mirror) and Warren Brown (The Responder; Luther) lead the cast of brand new drama Ten Pound Poms alongside Australian actors Rob Collins (Mystery Road; Firebite), Leon Ford (Elvis; The Light Between Oceans), Declan Coyle (Long Black; Life Of Jess), David Field (Shantaram; Preacher), Stephen Curry (Hounds Of Love; The Castle), Hattie Hook (Savage River; Of An Age), Finn Treacy (The Portable Door; Young Rock) and Emma Hamilton (The Tudors; Mr Selfridge).

The six-part series follows a group of British people as they leave gloomy post-war Britain in 1956 for a life-changing experience on the other side of the world. They were promised a better property, better employment chances, and a higher quality of life by the sea in sun-drenched Australia for only a tenner.

However, living in Australia isn't precisely the beautiful dream that newcomers have been promised. We follow their victories and challenges as they adjust to a new life in a new nation, far from Britain and familiarity, as they struggle with their new identity as immigrants.

Annie (Faye Marsay) and Terry Roberts are at the centre of the story (Warren Brown). They strive to make the best of the circumstances for themselves and their families.

They aren't the only people at the hostel avoiding the truth. Kate (Michelle Keegan) is a young nurse who arrives without her fiancé and will do whatever it takes to try and rewrite her devastating past. Bill (Leon Ford) has lost his family business back home and is so desperate to prove he's living the Australian dream that he'll stop at nothing in order to get a lifestyle he can't sustain. Teenager Stevie (Declan Coyle) comes from a troubled background and hopes to use this new adventure to escape his oppressive father. Meanwhile, Ron (Rob Collins), an Indigenous Australian war veteran, struggles with feeling like an outsider in his own country.

Danny Brocklehurst says: "Ten Pounds Poms demands an ensemble cast that we are always rooting for, actors we love and want to succeed. I am thrilled to have found those actors. It is a delight to welcome so much exciting Australian talent as well as working with the brilliant Faye and Warren for the first time. This is my third outing with the wonderful Michelle Keegan and I'm positive we will make another winner together."

First Image of Russell T Davies’ new drama, Nolly, starring Helena Bonham Carter as Noele Gordon

The first glimpse of Academy Award-nominated and BAFTA-winning actor Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown, Enola Holmes series 1 and 2, The King's Speech, Harry Potter, Burton and Taylor) as Noele "Nolly" Gordon has been released as filming on the series commences.

Augustus Prew (The Morning Show, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) joins the cast as Tony Adams, Nolly's Crossroads co-star, devoted friend, confidante, and her occasional chauffer.

Emmy and BAFTA-winner Mark Gatiss (Sherlock, League of Gentleman, Doctor Who) joins as inimitable entertainer Larry Grayson, who also shared a close and enduring friendship with Gordon.

Richard Lintern (Young Wallander, Silent Witness) is Ronnie Allen, who played Crossroads' suave hotel manager David Hunter. Antonia Bernath (Downton Abbey, Dickensian) is Jane Rossington, who starred in Crossroads as Jill Richardson, Meg's daughter. Clare Foster (The Crown, The Ex Wife) is Sue Lloyd, who played Barbara, wife of hotel manager David. Chloe Harris (Sherwood, The Spanish Princess) is Susan Hanson, who played Crossroads fan favourite Miss Diane. Lloyd Griffith (Ted Lasso, It's A Sin) is Paul Henry, who for over a decade played Crossroads' handyman Benny.

Con O'Neill (Happy Valley, Uncle) also joins the cast as Jack Barton, producer of Crossroads, and Tim Wallers (The Windsors, Belgravia) plays Barton's boss, and ATV's Controller of Programming, Charles Denton.

Bethany Antonia (House of the Dragon, Stay Close, Get Even) joins the cast as Poppy Ngomo, a young actor thrown into the world of Crossroads.

Noele (or Nolly to her friends) was a legend in her own lifetime. As flame-haired widow Meg Richardson in the long-running soap opera Crossroads, she was one of the most famous people in Britain. Then in 1981, at the height of the show's success and the peak of Nolly's fame, she was axed without ceremony, without warning and with no explanation. With the boss's words "all good things must come to an end" ringing in her ears, Noele Gordon found herself thrown out of the show that was her life for over 18 years.

Nolly brings the true Noele Gordon once more into the spotlight. The Queen of the Midlands, a star who could be tough, haughty and imperious, grandly sweeping into rehearsals from her Rolls Royce, but also a hard-working actress who was fiercely loyal and loved by cast and crew alike. And at last, the biggest question of all can be answered – why was she sacked? Nolly reveals the truth, the consequences, and the legacy of that terrible day.

Nolly is a bold exploration of how the establishment turns on women who refuse to play by the rules, the women it cannot understand and the women it fears. And it is a love letter to a legend of television, and to the madcap soap she starred in, Nolly is an outrageously fun and wildly entertaining ride through Noele Gordon's most tumultuous years, and a sharp, affectionate and heart-breaking portrait of a forgotten icon.
