Sky Sports have announced a new rights deal with the SA20 cricket league

Sky Sports has announced a 5-year rights deal for the South Africa T20 cricket league, which will begin on January 10, 2023. The league, featuring six privately-owned teams, will consist of 33 matches over the course of four weeks, and will be broadcast on Sky Sports Cricket channels for the first time. The league will showcase the talent of 102 world-class players, including several members of England's World Cup winning squad, such as captain Jos Buttler and the most expensive Indian Premier League player, Sam Curran. Bryan Henderson, Director of Cricket at Sky Sports, says they are excited to add the SA20 to their portfolio and believe it will be a great competition.

In addition to the SA20, Sky Sports will also be broadcasting three England Men's ODI's in South Africa on January 27, 29, and February 1. The SA20 is a welcome addition to the world T20 cricket schedule, providing access for both current and new, younger cricket fans to watch top players on the global stage.
