TRAILER: Dublin Narcos - Coming to Sky Documentaries and NOW from March 4th.

Sky has today released the official trailer for Sky Original series, Dublin Narcos, ahead of its broadcast on Sky Documentaries and NOW from March 4th.

The new three-part documentary recounts the tale of how Dublin went from being a city plagued by the recession in the 1980s to a burgeoning metropolis in the 1990s. Its criminals shifted along with its fortune. They spotted new opportunities. Those opportunities were sourcing and selling a succession of illegal substances – heroin, ecstasy and cocaine. As these drugs exploded in popularity, they came to redefine life and crime in Ireland, making millions for some, while fuelling a rise in addiction, violence and organised crime for many others.

Fusing documentary and drama, Dublin Narcos tells the story of how drugs changed the fabric of Dublin, which can still be seen to this day. This ground-breaking series hears first-hand from an extraordinary cast of characters, swept up in the burgeoning new business of drugs – from the kingpins to the GardaĆ who struggled to find new ways to bring down the new breed of criminal; from local mums who fought battles with dealers, to cocaine couriers and club owners; and from ravers who rode the wave of drug fuelled euphoria, to users whose forays into dealing led to their own downfall. Crucially, the series also hears from the fearless journalists whose attempts to expose the drug barons eventually lead to the death of one of their bravest, Veronica Guerin.

Produced by Blast! Films in conjunction with Sky Studios, Dublin Narcos will premiere on Sky Documentaries and NOW on Saturday March 4th at 9pm.

NEW IMAGES: Kevin McKidd and Vinette Robinson in action in crime thriller, Six Four

Six Four starts streaming on 30th March on ITVX

Today, ITV released a series of first-look images for the thrilling new crime drama Six Four, starring Kevin McKidd (Grey's Anatomy, Trainspotting) and Vinette Robinson (Boiling Point, Sherlock, The A-Word) as leads Chris and Michelle O'Neill.

Six Four, a four-part event drama written by BAFTA Scotland Award-winning screenwriter Gregory Burke (Black Watch), directed by Ben A. Williams (Sherwood, Baghdad Central), and produced by prestigious House Productions (Sherwood, Brexit - The Uncivil War), is scheduled to premiere on ITV's brand-new, free streaming service ITVX on March 30.

The drama, which is primarily set in Glasgow and is based on the best-selling book Six Four by Hideo Yokoyama, tells a dark and compelling tale of kidnapping, corruption, treachery, and an unwavering quest for the truth after Chris and Michelle O'Neill's teenage daughter goes missing.

Serving police detective, Chris, played by Kevin McKidd, is provided with a startling revelation about an infamous, unsolved case that once divided the police when a local girl called Julie Mackie disappeared. Now, reeling from the news that his own daughter has gone missing, Chris is approached by a journalist who tells him that fatal mistakes were covered-up in Julie's disappearance. Revisiting the case, Chris uncovers a series of undeniable errors, corruption and unbridled ambition.

As Chris fights to make sense of what he's discovered, his wife Michelle, played by Vinette Robinson, takes matters into her own hands in search of their daughter. Using skills she learned as a former undercover officer, Michelle takes ever-increasing risks as she follows a trail of clues into the criminal underworld she previously escaped from, where vice and extortion had the power to reach to the top of the political establishment.

While Chris and Michelle do everything they can to get to the truth, the daughter of the Justice Minister is suddenly kidnapped, just as the minister is on the cusp of achieving a political election victory. The kidnap has unnerving similarities to the Mackie case. Is the past repeating itself, or is the explosive truth of what really happened to Julie Mackie about to be revealed?

Crufts is back on TV!

The world's most famous dog show returns to television screens with more than 16 hours of coverage on Channel 4 and More4.

Despite being disgustingly cruel to inbreed dogs, which in turn causes all manner of health issues, Channel 4 deems it a money maker to provide wall to wall coverage.

This year, Clare Balding will be joined by Sophie Morgan and Radzi Chinyanganya, two hosts who made their Crufts debuts in 2022. Dr. Paul Manktelow, a veterinarian, and renowned dog trainer Ashleigh Butler are both coming back and competing in the programme. ChloƩ Fuller, a pet nutritionist and advocate for assistance dogs who has taught her dog Ted more than 100 commands to aid her around the home, and Chirag Patel, a dog behaviourist, will also be featured in the coverage, along with two additional special guests.

This year's Crufts will run from the 9th to the 12th of March and viewers will be able to follow the event across Channel 4 platforms, including on demand on All 4. Some 20,000 dogs will be at the NEC Birmingham as Crufts marks its 133rd year. This year's coverage is set to include classic favourites such as live Flyball, Agility, Heelwork to Music, The Kennel Club Hero Dog award and of course, the infamous Best in Show title for which 222 different breeds can compete.

Clare Balding said: "Crufts is always a massive highlight of my year. There's really nothing like it, the sights and sounds of the place, the agility, heelwork to music, flyball and judging every day, the people and of course the dogs! For a dog lover, there's nothing like it and as a viewer there's nowhere better to find expert tips, advice, and guidance on how best to look after your own dog, and basically just indulge your passion for all things canine."

The coverage line-up also includes a spotlight on some of Britain's fast disappearing native breeds, dog ownership in a cost-of-living crisis, canine communication, and expert advice on responsible dog ownership and care. Viewers will also be able to get involved from home across all of Channel 4's social channels and via Whatsapp QR code. Organised and hosted by The Kennel Club, the largest organisation in the UK devoted to dog health, welfare, and training, it is the largest show of its kind in the world and has been broadcast by Channel 4 and produced by Sunset+Vine since 2010.

He said: "I've written some names of people I should thank… Liz Truss, couldn't do it without you, girl. Hugo Boss, I'd like to thank Hugo Boss for designing those lovely Nazi uniforms and then to the company Hugo Boss for their unending appetite to protect their intellectual copyright. To everyone on Twitter with a football logo as their profile picture for keeping me grounded. To Nadine Dorries for everything she's done for culture. To the BBC chairman Richard Sharp for that loan you gave me, thank you Richard. I was struggling when I started out and he kept me afloat. I'd like to dedicate this award to the Channel 4 lawyers who protected me throughout my career from myself. And with that in mind, I'd like to say Richard Sharp should stand down as the BBC chairman and that's not my opinion but the opinion of Channel 4 television. Thank you so much."

Full Commission for Jamie’s £1 Wonders

Jamie's £1 Wonders, a special episode, was so popular that C4 ordered six 60-minute episodes of the series to air in the early spring. Jamie's £1 Wonders was his greatest primetime share programme since 2011, averaging 1.8 million viewers and 10.5% of all viewers, an increase of +81% over the slot average.

Jamie will provide viewers with useful advice that they can adjust to fit whatever ingredients are on hand or their own circumstances as well as dish ideas that can all be created for less than £1 per portion.

In the new six-part series, Jamie will demonstrate tasty, budget-friendly recipes for families, such as his version of a roast dinner, a fiery vegetable enchilada, and a hearty chicken pie. Jamie will invite guest chefs to share their knowledge and provide worthwhile recipes and advice from their personal cookbooks.

As each episode includes a recipe from a different chef, prepared in their own kitchen and featuring cuisines from Sri Lanka, Cyprus, Italy, and India as well as vegan and extremely low-cost recipes that respond to the rising costs of meat and dairy, this series will also serve as a platform for other great talent.

Jamie has also considered the cooking methods used to explore the most energy-efficient ways to make each meal. He’ll use the microwave to make a delicious chilli con carne from scratch; cook a pizza in a pan without the need to turn on the oven; use the oven once to make multiple meals; and offer a huge range of meals that use everyday ingredients in really innovative ways to keep costs down and flavour up.

You & Me - Full series arriving on ITVX on Thursday 23 February

A quintessentially modern relationship drama You & Me explores what it means to find love, what it means to lose love, and what it takes to try and love once again. Written and Created by Jamie Davis, in his screenwriting debut, the series stars Harry Lawtey (Industry, The Pale Blue Eye), Jessica Barden (The End of the F***ing World, Pieces of Her, Far From The Madding Crowd) and Sophia Brown (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Giri/Haji and Borderland) alongside Julie Hesmondhalgh (Coronation Street, Broadchurch, The A Word).

Warm, lyrical, engaging and enchanting, but also profoundly moving and unabashed in confronting the very real struggles that can be faced in the modern world, You & Me is Davis' unique and uncompromising vision of modern love and relationships. More than just a love story, it is also a story about love…about finding love when you least expect it, about losing it, about parental and sibling love, about sex and friendship, about the difficult decisions we must all make in the name of love, and the often searingly painful cost of love.

Harry Lawtey plays Ben, a young northerner in London who finds his life changed forever when catastrophe strikes on the happiest day of his life. Jessica Barden plays Emma, a rising theatre star who hides tragedy behind her success. And Sophia Brown plays Jess, a young woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when she's running for a bus…

Told over two separate timelines across the three episodes, You & Me reveals, chapter by chapter, the tragedies that have shaped Ben, Emma and Jess. As the "Then" gives way to the "Now", a chance encounter leads their lives (and their loved ones) to collide but when they find themselves offered a second chance at love, will they take it or will the past hold them back?

Also featured in the cast are Andi Osho (Stay Close, The Sandman, Breeders) as Jess's mum Pam, award-winning stage star Janie Dee (Crashing, Me and Orson Welles) as Emma's mum Hannah, with Lily Newmark (Sex Education, Temple) playing Joey, Emma's sister.

Britain's favourite vet, The Supervet, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, steps out of his comfort zone in this South Africa Special, travelling a world away from his specialist referral practice in Surrey to use his thirty years of expertise to help the most majestic and powerful wild animals of South Africa.

Noel, who is at the forefront of innovation in orthopaedics and neurosurgery for small animals in the UK, turns his attention to saving endangered rhinos and enhancing the lives of two big cats to make the remaining years of their lives a little easier by carrying out procedures that have never, if ever, been offered for wild animals.

The animals he encounters are all in desperate need of life-changing care and are either endangered owing to poaching, injured due to mistreatment in captivity, exploited in circuses and zoos in conflict areas, or all of the above.

Noel's patients – in wildlife reserves, orphanages, and sanctuaries - include a rhino, mauled by hyenas and in need of a new prosthetic limb, and another being fitted with anti-poaching protection; and a tiger and a lion who after a lifetime of suffering may finally be given a life free from pain.

Professor Noel Fitzpatrick said: "Having the opportunity to travel to South Africa and spend time with the magnificent animals of the savannah and the wonderful selfless people who dedicate their lives to looking after them - often in very difficult circumstances, including illegal poaching and conflict - was truly life changing. I found the dedication, compassion, and clinical skill of the veterinary professionals I met profoundly inspirational.

"What I experienced was eye opening to the immense challenges and responsibility we have as humankind to step up and look after these incredible animals who are intrinsic to our legacy on planet earth."

The Supervet: Safari Special airs on Thursday 23 February 2023 at 9:00 pm.

Does Sam Thompson have ADHD? He will find out in new E4 Documentary

Made in Chelsea star-turned-content creator and presenter, Sam Thompson is known for his larger-than-life, creative and high-energy persona. He's also known by those close to him for his impulsiveness, for forgetting appointments and losing not only his car keys, but those of girlfriend Zara McDermott too…

His fiancƩe, family, and friends have long claimed that he displays symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). But Sam decided to finally get tested for ADHD and consider what a potential diagnosis may entail for him last year as he approached his 30th birthday. Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD?, a new 1x60' South Shore production, follows Sam as he finally addresses the theory.

Sam is interested in learning more about the disorder, late diagnosis, how this neurodivergence manifests in various people, whether it affects relationships such as his and Zara's, and potential treatment options. Is there a risk that Sam's career-centered inventiveness may change if he is diagnosed with ADHD?

With years' worth of questions swirling around in his creative brain, Sam is in pursuit of answers – meeting doctors and professionals but also others who have been diagnosed later in life, to find out how they navigate their own ADHD.

With exclusive access to Sam's life over this unpredictable period, complete with self-shot video diaries, this documentary will show us a rawer side of Sam as his behaviour is placed under a microscope.

Speaking about the documentary, Sam Thompson said: "As someone who has worked in television for nearly a decade, I've shared some of my most personal moments with the world. But nothing has come close to this. This documentary is the most vulnerable I've felt in front of the camera, as I wanted to be totally open about how I react to people in situations, and whether these could be linked to ADHD. It has been an incredible, and at times, scary experience, but by exploring what's been going on inside my head, I hope people can see that we should be more understanding before judging others. I also want to encourage people to learn more about themselves, and be proud of everything that makes them unique."

Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD? is expected to air on E4 soon.

Andrew Tate documentary coming to Channel 4

Channel 4 have announced a documentary about Andrew Tate, but with this being channel 4, you can expect anything but an unbiased documentary, instead it will most likely be cleverly edited to paint a picture that the far left broadcaster wants to tell, in other words they will tell you "A" story and not "THE" story.

Here is what they have to say.

The 36-year-old ex-kickboxer and porn businessman Andrew Tate, who was born in America, became a social media sensation by mixing harmful misogyny with self-help strategies and get-rich-quick scams. On TikTok and Twitter, he amassed millions of followers—mostly young men—and as his fame grew, most platforms blocked him. Tate, who has never shied away from his success managing webcam porn stars, was detained by Romanian authorities at the end of the previous year on charges of rape, organized crime, and people trafficking.

Already you can see that Channel 4 are preparing their angle on Tate. What they wont tell you is that the girls that have been named as victims have already come out in SUPPORT of Tate and declared publicly that they are not victims. Channel 4 will also not tell you that Tate has NOT been charged with any crimes, and instead has been put in custody while they LOOK for a crime.

Watch this documentary only if you want to see how poorly the media will cover such a story, and will ignore journalistic ethics and instead try to sensationalise a story, instead of getting to the truth.
