Davina McCall to host new dating show My Mum, Your Dad

ITV1 and ITVX are set to introduce an innovative dating show titled "My Mum, Your Dad," hosted by the beloved Davina McCall. This groundbreaking series, produced by Lifted Entertainment, a division of ITV Studios, was previously known as "The Romance Retreat" and is scheduled to premiere on ITV1 and ITVX in the upcoming autumn season.

"My Mum, Your Dad" offers a unique twist on traditional dating shows, catering to the entire family. The program revolves around a group of single parents who have been nominated by their adult children for a second chance at love. Over the course of 10 captivating episodes, viewers will follow these single parents, hailing from different parts of the UK and representing diverse backgrounds, as they reside together in a stunning country house retreat. Their ultimate goal is to find true love.

However, there's a surprise twist: unbeknownst to the parents, their children will be closely observing their every move from a nearby location known as "The Bunker." From this surveillance room, the children will witness all the romantic endeavours of their parents and even have the opportunity to play matchmaker. They can decide who their mum or dad goes on one-on-one dates with and potentially invite someone to join the family in future celebrations.

As the series unfolds, audiences can expect a mix of light-hearted moments and heartwarming confessions.
