Wheel of Fortune returns to ITV

The iconic game show Wheel of Fortune is set to make a triumphant return to ITV1 and ITVX in 2024, bringing back the excitement of contestants spinning to win. Hosted by the acclaimed BAFTA award winner Graham Norton and produced by Whisper North, a division of the Sony Pictures Television-backed Whisper Group, this show promises to captivate audiences once again.

The upcoming season, consisting of 8 episodes, each running for 60 minutes, will include two celebrity specials. As in previous iterations, the heart of the game show revolves around a colossal carnival wheel, with contestants vying for the chance to win a life-changing cash prize.

This thrilling game of both skill and luck begins with contestants spinning the wheel, which determines the cash value they will play for. They then select a letter to assist them in solving the puzzle. Every correct letter they uncover multiplies their winnings by that amount. The stakes are high, as a single spin of the wheel can result in losing everything, with sections like 'bankrupts' and 'lose a turn' capable of wiping out their entire earnings.

In addition to cash, participants also have the opportunity to win remarkable prizes that are added to their cash pot, aiding them in reaching the coveted bonus round. Everything is on the line, but only one fortunate contestant will have the chance to accumulate a substantial sum in their cash pot and attempt to take it all home.
