BBC Three and BBC iPlayer are set to bring back the captivating and ever-changing world of Charlotte Crosby, the entrepreneur and TV personality, with the much-awaited return of "Charlotte in Sunderland" for its second series in 2023.
As the second series unfolds, Charlotte's daughter Alba is now seven months old, and the show captures her life as a new mother while she sets her sights on ambitious plans for the rest of 2023. Get ready for more exciting, emotional, and unpredictable moments as Charlotte's journey continues to unfold on screen.
Produced by Chatterbox Media, the second season of "Charlotte in Sunderland" (consisting of 10 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes) continues the compelling journey from where the first series left off. Viewers will witness Charlotte's life as she navigates through a series of transformative moments. Among them are her revelation of being pregnant with her first child, her partner Jake's decision to move from Manchester to the North East, her mother's cancer diagnosis, and the heartbreaking loss of her beloved nana Jean.

Series 1 of Charlotte in Sunderland averaged 300,000 (28 day / 4Screen) with 40% of this audience between the ages of 16-34, with strong overall iPlayer viewing (62%) and the series performed particularly well with viewers in the North of England. The series also generated 448k engagements via social media with a combined total of 36m impressions.
