The highly anticipated documentary series "Paranormal: The Girl, The Ghost and The Gravestone" has unveiled its trailer and key art. A joint venture between BBC Three and BBC Wales, this gripping box-set series follows Radio 1 presenter Sian Eleri as she embarks on an investigation at an unassuming farmhouse in north Wales, once regarded as the most haunted house in Britain during the late 1990s.
Mark your calendars for the series premiere on BBC Three on 15 August, with a double bill featuring episodes 1 at 9 pm and episode 2 at 9.30 pm. All episodes will also be available on BBC iPlayer. Additionally, the show will air on BBC One and BBC One Wales on 16 August at 10.40 pm. Get ready for a spine-tingling journey into the realm of the unknown.
The family residing at the farm captured the attention of both local and national media as they desperately sought answers to over 300 apparently paranormal events. These incidents were meticulously documented through video footage, audio interviews, photographs, and testimonies, all of which were hidden away until now.
Reports of eerie phenomena ranged from words and images mysteriously appearing and vanishing from walls to objects moving inexplicably around the house. Numerous witnesses even claimed to have encountered a hooded figure and the ghost of a girl, rumoured to be buried somewhere in the garden.
With exclusive access to the case archive and direct contact with those central to the events, Sian Eleri starts her investigation as a skeptic. However, as the series unfolds, a series of chilling and increasingly bizarre twists and turns leave her questioning everything she thought she knew.
"Paranormal: The Girl, The Ghost and The Gravestone" is a production of Twenty Twenty Productions Ltd for the BBC, with Hugo Pettitt as Series Producer and Rory Jackson as Series Director. The executive producers include Ruth Kelly and Jo Hughes. The documentary was commissioned by Clare Sillery, Head of Documentaries at the BBC, Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three and Young Audiences, and Nick Andrews, Head of Commissioning for BBC Wales. Max Gogarty and Sian Harris serve as Commissioning Editors.
