Don’t Look Down for Stand Up To Cancer - Participants revealed

The courageous stars set to face TV's most terrifying challenge show for the benefit of Stand Up To Cancer have been unveiled.

Teaming up with host and leader Paddy McGuinness on "Don't Look Down" are soap icon Beverley Callard, footballer Anton Ferdinand, presenter and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, sports broadcaster and Love Island finalist Chris Hughes, and French football legend David Ginola.

Additionally preparing for an unprecedented high-wire walk, which promises to induce vertigo, are adventurer and automotive expert Charley Boorman, TikTok sensation GK Barry, content creator and comedian Fats Timbo, and Olympic champion cyclist Victoria Pendleton.

Paddy McGuinness remarked, "This team is exceptional. Everyone has come together and is giving their all at our training camp in the Austrian Alps. I'm not certain if we're fully prepared to take on the high wire, but we're certainly going to give it our utmost effort."

Each team member has been personally affected by cancer and is eager to generate significant funds for Stand Up To Cancer. Presently, they're engaged in an intensive summer training camp in the Austrian Alps, receiving guidance from the world's leading high wire walking experts. The team is undergoing a challenging regimen of physically and mentally demanding training exercises and tasks aimed at transforming them from novices to individuals capable of scaling great heights. It's an emotional journey as they strive to conquer their individual fears while contemplating the impact cancer has had on their lives.

Upon completing their training, Paddy will lead the team as they confront a never-before-attempted, undisclosed final challenge. Their guiding principle: "Don't Look Down!"

"Don't Look Down" is a 5-episode, 60-minute series in support of Stand Up To Cancer. Channel 4 commissioned the show, overseen by Steven Handley, the commissioning editor for Entertainment, and Phil Harris, the Head of Entertainment and Events. Produced by South Shore, the executive producers include Melanie Leach, Andrew Mackenzie, Caroline Davies, and Rebecca McLaughlin.
