"Murder is Easy" - The New Agatha Christie Thriller Unveiled by BBC

The BBC offers a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming thriller, "Murder is Easy," a major adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel. This exciting project is a collaboration between Mammoth Screen ("The Serpent," "World on Fire") and Agatha Christie Limited ("And Then There Were None," "Death on the Nile"), co-commissioned with BritBox International. "Murder is Easy" is on its way to captivate audiences on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the near future.

In this two-part thriller, Siân Ejiwunmi-Le Berre takes the helm as the adapter, and Meenu Gaur ("Zinda Bhaag," "World on Fire") directs the gripping narrative. FIFTH SEASON is set to handle international sales.

Set in 1954 England, the story unfolds on a train to London, where Fitzwilliam encounters Miss Pinkerton. She reveals a chilling secret – a killer is at large in the tranquil English village of Wychwood under Ashe. While the villagers believe the deaths to be mere accidents, Miss Pinkerton knows better. Tragically, when she's found dead on her way to Scotland Yard, Fitzwilliam takes it upon himself to unmask the murderer before they strike again. Because, for some, murder is a simple act…

This thrilling 2-part series is a joint endeavor by Mammoth Screen (an ITV Studios subsidiary) and Agatha Christie Limited, co-commissioned by the BBC and BritBox International.
