New Adventures Await: The Famous Five Returns with Thrilling Episodes

Prepare for excitement and mystery as CBBC's beloved series, The Famous Five, makes a triumphant return in 2024 with two brand new action-packed episodes. Building on the success of its 2023 debut, this reimagining of Enid Blyton's timeless tales promises to captivate audiences once again with daring exploits and riveting mysteries.

Crafted by the visionary minds of Nicolas Winding Refn (byNWR) and Matthew Read (Moonage Pictures), the upcoming feature-length episodes, each spanning 90 minutes, will plunge viewers into a world of adventure like never before.

Reprising their roles as Aunt Fanny and Uncle Quentin are the talented Ann Akinjirin (Moon Knight) and James Lance (Ted Lasso), alongside new additions Ed Speleers (Downton Abbey) and Nora Arnezeder (Army of the Dead) in episode two. The ensemble cast also features rising stars Elliott Rose, Kit Rakusen, Flora Jacoby Richardson, and Diaana Babnicova, accompanied by Kip, the Bearded Collie Cross, in the role of the beloved Timmy the dog.


In episode two, "Peril On The Night Train," viewers will be swept into a cross-country thriller involving Uncle Quentin's groundbreaking invention, the 'Algebra Engine.' With the looming threat of war and the fate of the nation hanging in the balance, the race is on to safeguard this vital technology from falling into enemy hands.

Episode three, "The Eye Of The Sunrise," introduces new faces to the fray, including Jason Flemyng (Snatch) as the enigmatic circus magician, the Great Supremo, and Art Malik (True Lies) as the distinguished Sir Lincoln Aubrey.
