In this new series, Partridge, the esteemed broadcaster, embarks on an introspective journey to explore mental wellness in Britain. The show, heralded as one of the first documentaries to tackle the subject, will delve into the state of the nation's collective psyche and Partridge's own quest for inner peace. Through candid self-reflection, Alan Partridge boldly declares, "I'm Alan Partridge, and I'm not OK."

The series, which began filming last week in the South of England, promises to offer viewers an in-depth look at what it takes to maintain mental well-being. Over the course of six episodes, Partridge will investigate what is lacking in his life and why the nation seems to be in a collective funk, aiming to uncover the keys to a funk-free existence.

Alan Partridge himself commented on the project: "I'm delighted to follow the Daily Mail's exclusive coverage of filming and their gallery of paparazzi-style images with my own press release more or less confirming the details they've announced. All best, Alan."

Sarah Monteith, CEO of Baby Cow, the production company behind the series, expressed her excitement: "Baby Cow are delighted to present all new Alan Partridge for BBC One. Broadcaster, Prodigal Son, National Treasure – he's everything we need right now."

Jon Petrie, BBC's Director of Comedy Commissioning, praised the series: "Steve Coogan and Neil & Rob Gibbons have done it again. This look into the state of the nation (and Alan's own psyche) through a unique lens – that of Alan Partridge – promises to further bolster the already iconic repertoire of the most legendary comedy character in the UK. This series will firmly cement Alan Partridge as a national treasure."

The series, 'And Did Those Feet… with Alan Partridge', is penned by Steve Coogan, Neil Gibbons, and Rob Gibbons, who also direct. Produced by Joe Fraser, with executive producers Steve Coogan, Neil Gibbons, Rob Gibbons, Rupert Majendie, and Sarah Monteith, this Baby Cow production will be aired on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The show's TX information will be announced in due course.

BBC Studios, which owns Baby Cow, will handle the international distribution of the series. Fans of Alan Partridge can look forward to a uniquely insightful and humorous exploration of mental wellness through the eyes of one of Britain's most beloved comedic figures.
