With the blessing of Birmingham's actual Lord Mayor, Joe sets out to explore North America, home to no fewer than eighteen Birminghams. From Canada's Saskatchewan province to the Deep South, Joe will delve into the history and cultural commonalities of these American Birminghams.
His goal? To form official 'Friendship Agreements' with as many US Birminghams as possible. And as the series reaches its climax, Joe will invite some of his new Brummie chums back to Birmingham for the International Day of Birmingham, promising an event that will undoubtedly become a globally celebrated occasion.
