"Palm Royale," set in the glamorous high society of Palm Beach in 1969, stars Kristen Wiig as Maxine Simmons, an underdog striving to break into the exclusive world of the wealthy elite. The series explores themes of ambition, identity, and the lengths one will go to belong, resonating with audiences worldwide.

The series features an all-star cast including Wiig, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, and Leslie Bibb, with standout performances by Allison Janney, Bruce Dern, and Carol Burnett. Executive producer Laura Dern expressed her excitement for the renewal, stating, "Jayme and I (with Jaywalker Pictures) have been dreaming up this project for so long in hopes that audiences would have delicious fun with the radical ride that is the world of 'Palm Royale.' We all can't wait to get started!"

Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, shared similar enthusiasm, noting the series' global appeal and the anticipation for the next chapter. "We are thrilled that viewers will have the opportunity to spend more time with this highly entertaining, iconic cast," he said.

"Palm Royale" is created, written, and showrun by Abe Sylvia, who also serves as executive producer alongside Wiig, Dern, Jayme Lemons, Katie O'Connell Marsh, Tate Taylor, John Norris, Sharr White, Sheri Holman, and Boat Rocker. The series is produced by Apple Studios and Aunt Sylvia's Moving Picture Company.
