Beauty And The Geek - Episode 2 Summary

The beauties and geeks continue with getting to know each other, but two couples are forced to meet more quickly than the rest when Chris and Amanda make their decision about which pair to switch themselves with - they ultimatley decide to split up, with Chris pairing with Tristin and Amanda pairing with Brandon.
Later, the men face a karaoke challenge, and the women are forced to muster up the courage to give a speech about a political topic that they know very little about.
Tyson and Cher win their respective challenges, granting their partnerships immunity from the elimination room and forcing them each to nominate one team for elimination. Tyson and Thais choose Chris and Tristin, and Cher and Josh nominate Amanda and Brandon.
In the elimination room, the four people involved with the surprise team switch square off in a round of question and answer; the beauties answer questions about politics and the geeks answer questions about popular culture and music.
Brandon and Amanda lose the quiz, and the two become the first eliminated from Beauty and the Geek 2.
