Beauty And The Geek - Episode 5 Summary

In the fifth episode, the teams discovered who won last week's challenge when Josh and Cher walked through the door. A few people were upset that Cher was still in the game, but overall, most were happy with the outcome. Next up, the teams were informed that they would be learning about party planning. The real surprise came when the teams found out they were going to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada to try out their party planning skills! The beauties and geeks packed their bags, then boarded the party bus for a road trip to Sin City. On the way there Joe taught the beauties a thing or two about how to play poker.

Once in Vegas, it was hard for the teams to stay focused. Instead of studying up, the teams got their party on, complete with cocktails, slot machines, and nightclub dancing. To everyone's surprise, Joe got up on stage and played the drums with the night's in-house entertainment. Then things began to heat up when Cher and Wes began to hit it off on the dance floor. After some intimate dancing, the two disappeared into the night.

The next day the beauties were told they would be competing in a game of strip poker. The geeks got excited, until they found out they would be the ones giving up their clothing based on their partner's skills. One by one the clothes began to come off. As Karl and Wes stood shirtless, Karl commented, "Is there a zoo around here, because there's all these pythons out?". Ankur then stripped down to his tiddy whities after doing a jig. Then Cher took her game to a new level by winning several rounds. It was intense in the end, with Cher and Brittany going head to head, but Brittany won the hand and the game, thus securing Brittany and Joe's place in the house for another week. All the teams were then informed that the geek who threw the hottest party, with the most girls in attendance, would win the geek challenge. Josh seemed to have a bit of trouble hooking girls as he scouted the casino lobby. Karl and Joe seemed to be having a difficult time as well.

Later in the evening, it was time to party. Ankur's party had a pretty good turn out, and, to everyone's surprise, so did Josh's. Joe and Brittany didn't have much luck getting people to show, nor did Karl and Danielle. Last place with zero attendees was Karl. The winner, with 14 women at the party was Josh, thus securing his team's place in the house for one more week. Josh surprised Cher, and the two celebrated their win.

Once everyone returned to the house, Josh asked Cher if she would object to him voting Wes and Sarah to enter the elimination room. Josh was concerned because of what happened between Cher and Wes in Vegas. Cher said she was there to support his decision, and the two left to make their announcement. Brittany and Joe then selected Ankur and Jennipher, and Josh and Cher selected Karl and Danielle.

Each team was then asked six questions pertaining to card games and party hosting, three per member. Danielle was unable to get any questions correct, while Jennipher got two right. In the end, Ankur and Jennipher won by getting the highest score, leaving Karl and Danielle packing their bags.

Don't miss the next episode. In the sixth episode, the beauties learn they must ask the geeks out on dates. As new friendships are formed, one couple's growing romance becomes more intimate. Meanwhile, the geeks become stylists and photographers for a day during a sexy photo shoot challenge. Two teams are sent to elimination room to face questioning and one is sent packing.
