Beauty And The Geek - Episode 6 Summary

In the sixth episode, the teams discovered that Anruk and Jennipher survived last week's challenge, leaving only four teams remaining in the house.

The teams were then told this week's challenge would require them to learn to communicate with their partners on a new level: their level. It was also noted that the winners of this week's two challenges would be the only two teams safe from elimination for the week. The two losing teams would automatically end up in the elimination room. The beauties were told that they should look for a special note when they got back to their rooms, informing them of further details about their challenge this week. The beauties then made their way upstairs, only to discover that, as part of this week's challenge, they would be required to ask a geek from the house out on a date. The catch was that it could not be their teammate. As might be expected, the girls felt asking a guy out would be somewhat awkward.

Downstairs the geeks began to wonder what the 'special note' for the beauties as all about. Casting all fears aside, Jennipher pulled Josh into the kitchen and asked him out on a date, making her the first beauty to take action. Josh gladly accepted. Next up Brittany asked Ankur to be her date for the evening, and he accepted as well. Cher followed suit by asking Wes out, and Sarah selected Joe as her date.

That evening the couples met up for their dates. Joe and Sarah got to know each other a little better at the diner table, although Joe struggled, to Sarah's displeasure, with a runny nose all evening long. Josh and Jennipher discussed Josh's 'murse', a.k.a. purse. Brittany was very excited about her date with Ankur. The two learned a lot about each other. Oddly enough, Cher and Wes, the two who hit it off in Las Vegas, had the most stressful date of the evening, although things clearly turned around for the two at the end of the night.

The next day the geeks found out they would be directing a photo shoot featuring their beauties. The guys had to pick out an evening gown and one set of lingerie for their partners. The geeks selected their teammates' clothing, and then got down to business behind the camera. When the beauties found out they would be the geeks' models for the day, a few were stunned to say the least.

Joe's shoot with Brittany got pretty outrageous, with the beauty feeling a bit awkward at times. Josh got very excited about his photo shoot with Cher. Ankur had a bit of a problem conveying his vision to Jennipher, although he felt the shoot was a success. Then Sarah and Wes completed their shoot, although Sarah was obviously not very comfortable during her time in front of the camera.

After all the shoots were completed, a panel of four judges, all with an eye for photography, examined each of the geek's photos. In the end, Joe took the victory by unanimous decision, thus securing his team's place in the house for another week.

The next morning the Beauties were taken to the House of Blues. Unfortunately, they were not allowed to wear any makeup or style their hair prior to their arrival. They were then told their challenge would be to see how many guys they could get to buy them a drink. The beauties were then given a 'make under' and sent into the bar. As can be imagined, the beauties were not happy at all. Sarah commented that she felt completely out of her element, after her and the other beauties faced one rejection after another. Sarah came in fourth place with only one guy buying her a drink. Cher got two drinks and took third place. Brittany took second place. And the winner, with five drinks, was Jennipher, thus securing her team's place in the house for one more week, leaving Wes & Sarah and Cher & Josh heading to the elimination room. Afterwards, the ladies said they felt the lesson was valuable because they got to experience what the geeks feel when trying to pick up women. Before the challenge in the elimination room,

Wes and Cher spent some time together, both knowing they would no longer be in the house together at the end of the evening.

In the elimination room, the beauties were told they would be tested on things guys like to talk about, and the geeks would be tested on fashion. Although it was a difficult challenge, Josh and Cher took the win, resulting in Wes and Sarah's elimination from the house.

Don't miss Beauty & The Geek 2 on March 2nd when the show returns with only three teams remaining. Each player will make a 'thank you' video message for their respective partner's, showing what each beauty and geek have learned from each other. In addition, the teams embark on a scavenger hunt that tests the beauties' ability to read a road map, while the geeks' search for the perfect gift for their partner. Two teams will remain in their quest to become more than just a beauty and a geek.
