I am a big scrabble fan, have played it for many many years, whether it was online through facebook, or with friends on a classic boardgame, so I have been looking forward to see how well it would translate to the small duel screen of the Nintendo DS.
Well it translates well for a start, during play the top screen can show the full board, where as the bottom screen shows a zoomed in area as well as which tiles you have. You can also zoom out and play with just the full board on the lower screen, although it can be a bit hard to see everything so the zoom option is prefered.
Since this is the 2007 edition the dictionary is bang up to date which of course is important.
Another great function of this game is that after you or your opponent has played a word it scrolls the definition on the top screen, so you mayjust learn what some words mean too.
It is quite simple, if you are a fan of scrabble and word games then you will like this, there are some other options for gameplay as well as scrabble, but lets be honest you will only be buying this game for the scrabble.
