Internationally-acclaimed Brighton chocolatier Choccywoccydoodah is opening its doors once more to provide further scrumptious insights into its maverick and crazy world.
Series two of Choccywoccydoodah once again provides exclusive access to the world-class shop in Brighton, which produces more than 7,500 cakes every year and has a clientele ranging from foreign dignitaries to A-listers including Madonna, Johnny Depp and Kylie Minogue.
The team, overseen by chocolate matriarch Christine and with creative captain Dave at the helm, continues to try to keep up with demand during their busiest time of year. Starting with Easter they are tasked to build the most elaborate shop window that Brighton has ever seen, complete with giant chocolate house and the creation of a one off 60kg egg, which lives in a wheelbarrow and carries a price tag of £750!
The cameras roll as the team celebrates the unveiling of its Royal wedding-themed shop window by staging a Mad Hatters Tea Party, complete with VIP guest Tara Palmer Tomkinson, who arrives in a stretched limousine, before being served tea and cake by café manager Daveed. The team also helps Boy George to celebrate his 50th birthday bash by creating a cake that’s as extravagant and unusual as the evening itself.
New additions to the team include Donna, who is filling the extrovert shoes of Texan born Gina, as manager and front of house at the Choccywoccydoodah shop. She now faces a chocolate baptism of fire to impress Christine and show that she is up to the task.
