You’re Cut Off

You’re Cut Off, Thursdays at 9pm from 7th April, exclusive to Really
Watch out for tears and tantrums as life strategist and coach Laura Baron, who regularly appears on America’s Today Show, attempts to transform nine spoiled-rotten rich teenagers, into self-sufficient young women.

You’re Cut Off, exclusive to digital channel Really, begins by introducing UK viewers to nine prissy princesses who are used to living a life of luxury, without having to lift a finger. It is a spoiled-rotten life, which includes being served breakfast, chauffeured trips to exclusive boutiques, and champagne parties with their other socialite friends.

But in the midst of all this paid-for luxury, their parents’ patience is wearing thin. They have decided to take extreme measures and enrol their daughters into an intense boot camp – where they will learn how to fend for themselves.

Now, minus their credit cards and ability to spend, lifestyle and relationship expert Laura Baron steps in to guide the girls through their transition from brat to woman. She has her work cut out as she tries to change their underlying psychological patterns – narcissism, dependency, and lack of confidence.

With celebrity guests including celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams offering a helping hand, viewers will see the contestants learn how to camp outdoors, apply for jobs, take part in a photo shoot without their make up, as well as learning how to complete daily chores such as hovering and ironing.

Needless to say, the transition does not always run smoothly, with some of the girls initially struggling to take part in the tasks. Once the tears dry and the melodramatics are over, will they emerge from the You’re Cut Off boot camp, seeing the error of their ways?

The UK premiere of You’re Cut Off, is new to Really, Thursdays at 9pm from 7 April (Sky 248, Virgin 267)
