Sky Kids has unveiled a fresh batch of original programming, offering a mix of returning favourites and exciting new shows designed to capture the imagination of young viewers. The upcoming slate covers a range of moods and themes, from spooky Halloween fun to soothing Christmas specials, all crafted to encourage creativity, curiosity and emotional connection.

One of the highlights is Emerald, a new series based on Harriet Muncaster's beloved book series. It follows a mermaid princess who embraces her individuality while navigating family changes and unexpected adventures. The show promises joy and heart, featuring the voice of Adjoa Andoh as Shelly the Turtle. Another new addition is Jaime's Treetop Tales, where storyteller Jaime Amor invites children into his cosy treehouse for adventures sparked by everyday objects. The series aims to foster imaginative play and calm moments through its original characters and gentle narratives.

The Very Small Creatures

Returning to Sky Kids is the third season of The Very Small Creatures, produced by Aardman Animations. This BAFTA-nominated series continues the warm and funny stories of five tiny friends exploring a child's play area in secret, alongside themed mashup episodes focusing on playful activities like messy play and dress up. Also new is Pip & Posy's Spooktacular Party, a Halloween special featuring costumes, games and spooky storytelling, with a mysterious ghost decoration adding to the fun.

Looking ahead to January 2026, Sky Kids will release the third season of BooSnoo!, and ahead of that comes the BooSnoo! Christmas Mashup. This festive special blends snow, skiing and seasonal cheer in a calming visual treat to bring some peaceful joy to the holiday season.

Lucy Murphy, Sky's Director of Kids Content, said the slate reflects the channel's commitment to "imaginative, joyful, and high-quality entertainment that kids love and parents trust," praising the creative partners behind these diverse and vibrant shows.
