Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the fourth season of its acclaimed drama The Morning Show, confirming the series will return on Wednesday 17 September 2025. The first episode lands on launch day, with new episodes following weekly until 19 November.

Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the show picks up in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA–NBN merger complete, the newsroom is now more powerful than ever, but with power comes new dangers. Hidden agendas, deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate secrets test the limits of trust in a country already divided. The question driving the season: in a world where truth can be twisted overnight, how do you know what's real?

Aniston and Witherspoon are joined by a heavyweight cast including Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm. New faces this season include Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, and Academy Award winners Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.

Behind the camera, Charlotte Stoudt continues as showrunner and executive producer, with Mimi Leder directing and executive producing. The series is produced by Media Res, led by Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer, alongside Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine and Aniston's Echo Films.

The new season follows a hugely decorated run for the show. Season three picked up 16 Emmy nominations, with Billy Crudup winning his second Emmy for his performance as Cory Ellison, as well as a Critics Choice Award. The show was also recognised by the American Film Institute as one of the 10 best programmes of 2023. Earlier seasons earned Emmy wins and nominations across lead and supporting roles, while Aniston's work as Alex Levy won her a SAG Award. Mimi Leder also received Emmy nominations for directing both the season one and season three finales.

Fans can catch up on seasons one to three now, streaming worldwide on Apple TV+, before season four arrives this September. - https://apple.co/3VaOBzm
