Foundation has pulled in viewers with its rich world-building, striking visuals, fearless storytelling and strong performances. Season three carries on the sweeping saga of a group of exiles fighting to save humanity and rebuild civilisation as the Galactic Empire crumbles.

This chapter takes place 152 years after season two. The Foundation has grown far from its modest origins, while the Cleonic Dynasty's Empire has waned. An uneasy alliance forms between these two powers, just as a dangerous new enemy emerges. The Mule, a ruthless warlord, seeks to dominate the galaxy through sheer military might and mind control. With Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons and Demerzel all drawn into the struggle, the outcome is anything but certain.

Season three brings fresh faces to the cast, including Emmy winner Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Academy Award winner Troy Kotsur and Pilou Asbæk. Returning favourites include Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann and Rowena King.
