Sky Sports is gearing up to bring fans closer to the Barclays Women's Super League this season with a new flagship Sunday programme, fresh on-screen faces, and unprecedented access to the players and matches. The season kicks off this Friday as champions Chelsea Women take on Manchester City Women.

With 90% of all WSL matches live on Sky Sports and NOW, supporters can follow their favourite teams more than ever before. Across 118 matches this season, every game played at midday on Sunday will be featured in a new dedicated programme, offering a full 60-minute build-up from 11:00 with team news, updates from every ground, and more player-focused content. The show will be broadcast from a state-of-the-art studio, delivering in-depth discussion and tapping into social conversations to create a weekend entertainment destination for fans.

Joining the Sky Sports team is former Aston Villa Women and Scotland captain Rachel Corsie, bringing her insight from a recent playing career. New additions also include social reporters and women's football superfans Rhyanna Parara and Alex Bailess, covering the latest talking points from social media. They join fan-favourite Izzy Christiansen, presenter Caroline Barker, and new lead commentator Ellen Ellard in the expanded line-up.

This weekend offers four live matches, including a Merseyside derby as Liverpool Women face Everton Women. Brighton & Hove Albion Women play Aston Villa Women, Manchester United Women take on Leicester City Women, and Tottenham Hotspur Women host West Ham United Women. For fans wanting to keep an eye on all the action, Sky Sports will show the four games simultaneously via Multiview.

Making its debut this Sunday, Multiview moves from ground to ground to capture all the goals and key moments with one dedicated commentary team and half-time analysis. The format will later be introduced for Premier League coverage as well.

Jonathan Licht, Chief Sports Officer for Sky, said: "This Friday we're excited to be kicking off our new landmark partnership with the WSL. As the biggest stars of the women's game are back in action, we're ready to give fans the best possible viewing experience. Sunday lunchtimes will become the WSL's must-watch slot, with a new flagship show and a choice of live matches. We will also be expanding our content across social, welcoming more fans and keeping them entertained all season, ensuring they never miss a moment."

Fans will also benefit from a dedicated WSL YouTube channel, featuring match highlights, streams of selected live games, exclusive interviews, and content showcasing the league's biggest personalities. The Sky Sports app offers vertical video highlights, match centres with scores and stats, and live streams for Sky Sports customers. The WSL podcast From Pitch to Pod returns this season with Jordan Nobbs and Nikita Parris discussing the hottest topics in women's football each week.

Under a new five-year rights deal, Sky Sports will broadcast three times more fixtures than before, including 78 exclusively live games and 75% of first picks. Fans can enjoy up to five live matches per week, plus coverage of every game on the final weekend, offering access to the biggest clashes and storylines.

This WSL expansion coincides with Sky's record-breaking Premier League deal, guaranteeing at least 215 live matches each season, alongside over 1,000 EFL games and coverage of the SPFL and SWPL, making Sky the home of domestic football.
