Sky has announced John Bishop's Comedy Night at The Coliseum, a brand-new comedy entertainment series set to arrive on Sky and streaming service NOW in early 2027.

Hosted by the popular British comedian, the three-part series will bring together established comedy stars, breakthrough performers and emerging talent, celebrating the breadth of the UK's comedy scene.

Produced by Drum Studios, the series will feature a hand-picked line-up of performers, with the iconic London Coliseum providing the setting for an evening of live comedy. The shows will be recorded in front of a live audience in December 2026.

Bishop is looking forward to bringing together performers from across the comedy circuit, with the series aiming to showcase both familiar names and the next generation of talent.

John Bishop said: “There’s so much brilliant talent on the British comedy circuit at the moment, from the established names to the next generation coming through. I want this series to celebrate all of it and reflect what’s happening out there right now. I can’t wait to fill the London Coliseum with some of the best comedy the country has to offer."

Phil Edgar-Jones, Executive Director, Original Unscripted at Sky, also welcomed the new series, highlighting the broadcaster's commitment to comedy and discovering fresh talent.

Phil Edgar-Jones said: “We take laughter very seriously at Sky and love nothing more than discovering new people and new ways of tickling the nation’s funny bones, with the legendary John Bishop at the helm of this brand new show, we’ll be bringing together comedy icons, some of the circuits biggest names and fresh comic voices too”

With its combination of established performers and rising stars, John Bishop's Comedy Night at The Coliseum will offer a snapshot of British comedy talent, filmed at one of London's most recognisable entertainment venues.

The three-part series, with each episode running for 44 minutes, is scheduled to arrive on Sky and NOW in early 2027.
