Katie Price: Nothing to Hide Set to Revisit Three Decades in the Spotlight

Katie Price

By Jon Donnis

For three decades, Katie Price has remained one of Britain’s most talked-about celebrity figures, with every triumph, controversy and personal struggle unfolding under intense public scrutiny. This summer, a new documentary series aims to revisit that extraordinary journey, offering viewers a deeper look at the woman behind the headlines.

Katie Price: Nothing to Hide arrives on Sky and NOW on 8 July, with all four episodes available from launch. Produced by Louis Theroux’s acclaimed production company Mindhouse, the series takes an archive-led approach to examining Price’s life and career, blending rarely seen footage with fresh testimony from those who have known her throughout the years.

The documentary traces Price’s rise from her early days as glamour model Jordan, first appearing on Page 3 of The Sun in 1996, to becoming one of the most recognisable faces in British popular culture. Over the years, her life has generated constant media attention, from high-profile relationships and family life to lucrative business ventures, reality television appearances and personal setbacks.

Alongside extensive archive material, the series features candid contributions from family members, friends and figures who have been part of Price’s world across the past 30 years. Their reflections aim to provide additional context to moments that were often reduced to tabloid headlines at the time.

Rather than simply revisiting familiar stories, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide promises to explore the experiences behind the public image. By bringing together new perspectives and previously unseen material, the series seeks to paint a fuller portrait of a woman whose life has long been lived in front of cameras.

The four-part Sky Original is directed by BAFTA and International Emmy-winning filmmaker Paddy Wivell, with Phelan Glen serving as series producer. Executive producers for Mindhouse are Arron Fellows and Emma Whitehead, while Maria Sharman acts as production executive. The series was commissioned for Sky by Hayley Reynolds, Head of Documentary Commissioning, and Commissioning Editor Kathryn Taylor.

Katie Price: Nothing to Hide will be available on Sky and the streaming service NOW from 8 July.

Why Alien Autopsy Could Be Sky’s Most Fascinating Docuseries Yet

Alien Autopsy

By Jon Donnis

I cannot be the only one who remembers the buzz of the 90s, when a grainy black and white film seemed to show an alien being dissected by men in hazmat suits. It was everywhere. TV news, magazines, whispered playground debates. Was it real, was it fake? For years the footage hung over pop culture like a half-forgotten ghost. Now Sky is bringing it all back with Alien Autopsy (w/t), and I am honestly itching to see how this one unfolds.

Directed by John Dower, the man behind My Scientology Movie and the BAFTA-winning Lockerbie, the new Sky Original docuseries promises to dig deep into what really happened. In 1995, that 18 minutes of footage supposedly from Roswell shocked the world. Some swore it was undeniable proof of extraterrestrials, others thought it was the slickest hoax of the century. As it turned out, a group of filmmakers in a London flat were behind the recreation, but the nagging question never went away. Could they have based it on something genuine?

What excites me most about this series is that it doesn't just stop at the infamous tape. It pulls in the wider history of UFO sightings and obsessions, from Roswell's legendary crash site to Scotland's Calvine photo. And it lands at a moment when UFOs are suddenly headline news again. We've got military whistleblowers talking openly about unexplained aerial encounters, and governments actually taking it seriously. That makes the timing of this show feel spot on.

I can already imagine the mix of nostalgia and intrigue. The vibe of the 90s, when The X-Files was on everyone's TV and conspiracy theories spread by word of mouth instead of TikTok. Combined with today's climate, where we're asking again if we're alone in the universe. That combination feels electric.

The fact that this story has never had a premium documentary treatment before is wild in itself. Dower and the Mindhouse team seem determined to give it the seriousness, and maybe even the playfulness, it deserves. I have no idea if this will settle the mystery or just make it weirder, but either way I'll be glued to it.

Alien Autopsy (w/t) will be landing soon on Sky Documentaries and streaming on NOW. Count me in.

Sky Reveals First Look at Amadeus, a Bold Reimagining of Mozart’s Rise and Fall

By Jon Donnis

Sky has given audiences a first glimpse of Amadeus, a five-part limited series that promises to blend "historical drama" with a rockstar sense of energy. Will Sharpe (Giri/Haji, The White Lotus) stars as Wolfgang 'Amadeus' Mozart, Paul Bettany (WandaVision, A Very British Scandal) plays the envious court composer Antonio Salieri, and Gabrielle Creevy (In My Skin, Black Doves) takes on the role of Constanze Weber, Mozart's devoted wife.

Adapted from Peter Shaffer's award-winning stage play by Joe Barton (Black Doves, Giri/Haji, The Lazarus Project), the series tracks Mozart's meteoric rise and the dangerous obsessions it inspires. Arriving in Vienna at 25, no longer a child prodigy, Mozart seeks creative freedom, only to clash with the devout and increasingly jealous Salieri. Constanze remains a stabilising presence, fiercely loyal as she navigates the chaos surrounding her husband's genius and personal demons.

As Mozart dazzles audiences and courts alike, Salieri's envy grows into a consuming obsession that spans three decades, threatening everything he holds dear and culminating in a shocking personal reckoning. The story promises to explore the complexity of talent, ambition, faith, and the cost of genius in a way that is both epic and intimate.

Amadeus is set to launch on Sky and streaming service NOW later this year, offering viewers a dramatic, modern take (that usually means woke) on one of history's most celebrated composers.

By Jon Donnis

Sky has just unveiled the first teaser and images for its upcoming original series Atomic, set to launch Thursday 28 August on Sky and streaming service NOW.

Starring Alfie Allen (SAS: Rogue Heroes, Game of Thrones), Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery, What's Love Got To Do With It) and Samira Wiley (The Handmaid's Tale, Orange is the New Black), Atomic promises a fast-paced, globe-trotting action-adventure packed with tension, twists and unexpected alliances.

The series follows Max, a carefree drug smuggler played by Allen, whose world collides with JJ (Latif), a mysterious figure on the run.

Thrown together by chance, the pair are pulled into a high-stakes mission to traffic highly enriched uranium across North Africa and the Middle East. What starts as a botched escape quickly spirals into a dangerous game involving multiple intelligence agencies and powerful forces with competing agendas.

Hot on their trail is Cassie Elliott (Wiley), a sharp and determined CIA operative working under Non-Official Cover. She's convinced Max and JJ are linked to extremists, but the deeper she digs, the murkier the truth becomes.

As the chase intensifies, Atomic veers into something more than just survival. With covert agents, cartels, and secrets at every turn, Max and JJ are forced to confront not only the chaos around them, but the baggage they've been running from.

Atomic lands Thursday 28 August on Sky and NOW.

Sky has unveiled the first-look images for The Iris Affair, a high-stakes chase thriller from Luther creator Neil Cross. Previously titled Iris, the eight-part series stars Niamh Algar (Mary & George, The Virtues) as brilliant puzzle-solver Iris Nixon and Tom Hollander (The White Lotus, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans) as Cameron Beck, a charismatic but morally murky entrepreneur. Directed by Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and Sarah O'Gorman (A Gentleman in Moscow, The Witcher), the show promises a visually arresting and tense ride through Italy.

Set against sun-drenched European backdrops, The Iris Affair pits two sharp minds against one another in a gripping battle of wits. After Iris cracks a series of complex online puzzles, she finds herself face-to-face with Beck in a Florentine piazza. He offers her a mysterious job involving a powerful piece of top-secret technology. Intrigued, she agrees. But after discovering its deadly potential, she steals the activation journal and goes off-grid.

What unfolds is a kinetic game of cat and mouse, stretching from a secluded Sardinian cabin to the heart of Rome. As Cameron races to recover the stolen journal, Iris must stay ahead in a world where trust is elusive and the consequences are lethal.

Joining Algar and Hollander is a strong supporting cast that includes Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones), Harry Lloyd (Arcane), Meréana Tomlinson (The Trials), Sacha Dhawan (Doctor Who), Maya Sansa (Dormant Beauty), Peter Sullivan (Poldark), Debi Mazar (Younger), Marco Leonardi (Anime Nere), Angela Bruce (Silver Haze) and Lorenzo De Moor (A Simple Favor 2).

Produced by Sky Studios and Fremantle, the show was filmed on location in Italy with production services from Wildside. Executive producers include Adrian Sturges for Sky Studios, Neil Cross, Terry McDonough, Jenni Sherwood and Dante Di Loreto for Fremantle. Susan E. Connolly and Ian Scott McCullough have also contributed as writers on the series.

The Iris Affair will air later this year on Sky and streaming service NOW in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Fremantle is managing the series' international distribution.
