ITV has confirmed a new licensing agreement with Disney Entertainment that will bring FX's critically acclaimed limited series A Murder at the End of the World to UK audiences. The seven-part mystery drama will be available to stream for free on ITVX from 25th May.

Starring Emma Corrin (The Crown) as amateur detective Darby Hart, the series combines classic whodunnit tension with a modern tech-driven edge. Corrin plays a Gen Z hacker and sleuth who is invited, along with eight other guests, to an exclusive retreat hosted by a reclusive billionaire at a remote, visually striking location.

But what begins as an enigmatic getaway soon turns deadly. When one of the guests is found dead, Darby must untangle the truth behind the murder before the killer strikes again. As secrets unravel and motives clash, the isolated setting becomes a pressure cooker for suspicion and survival.

The ensemble cast includes Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, Brit Marling, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson and Neal Huff.

Created, written and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, the series builds on the creative duo's reputation for thought-provoking, genre-defying television. Marling and Batmanglij also serve as executive producers alongside Andrea Sperling (Transparent), Melanie Marnich and Nicki Paluga. Additional writing credits include Marnich and Rebecca Roanhorse. The production is helmed by FX Productions.

Sasha Breslau, Head of Content Acquisitions at ITV, said: "Emma Corrin captivates alongside co-creator Brit Marling and Clive Owen in this compelling mystery drama. We're delighted to bring this premium miniseries to audiences at ITVX."

A Murder at the End of the World blends mystery, suspense and striking visuals into a tightly woven narrative. UK viewers can stream the full series on ITVX from 25th May.
