ITV has revealed a brand-new entertainment format, The Neighbourhood, where families and households will go head-to-head in a high-stakes battle for a life-changing cash prize. Set to launch next year on ITV1 and ITVX, the 12-part series will be hosted by BAFTA-winning broadcaster Graham Norton, bringing his signature humour and charisma to the competition.
Developed by Lifted Entertainment and The Garden, both part of ITV Studios, the show was created by Lifted Entertainment's development team, led by Kat Hebden and Ed Daggett, alongside The Garden's Mike Philo. It combines intense competition with real-life domestic drama, offering a fresh take on the reality genre.
In The Neighbourhood, real households from different backgrounds will move in next to each other, turning from strangers into both neighbours and rivals. They will eat, sleep and socialise alongside their opponents while taking on public challenges that could shift alliances and power dynamics overnight. The aim is not just to win competitions but to outlast and outplay the other households while maintaining their place in the community.
This is not about keeping up with the neighbours. It is about beating them.
Casting is now open, with applications available at itv.com/beontv
