Bloods season 2 - First look trailer

Sky has released the first look trailer for the second season of the critically acclaimed original comedy Bloods, which premieres on Sky Comedy and NOW on March 16th. In the day-to-day life-saving world of an emergency service, Samson Kayo and Jane Horrocks reprise their roles as South London's finest wacky dream team Wendy and Maleek, along with their paramedic colleagues.

The ten-episode series was created for Sky by BAFTA award-winning Roughcut TV (Stath Lets Flats, People Just Do Nothing, Cuckoo) in collaboration with Sky Studios and will air in two five-part drops.

The second season introduces a new source of friction for Wendy and Maleek in the form of Wendy's obnoxious son, Spencer (Nathan Foad). Katherine Kelly (Innocent, Liar) joins the cast as the acting therapist and listening ear at the ambulance station. Jo's crush on Lawrence is revealed this season, Darrel and Darryl are on the verge of divorce, and Gary and Kareshma become emotionally involved with a patient, so a counsellor could be just what the team needs!

Lucy Punch (Motherland) and Julian Barratt (Mighty Boosh) return as the show's exuberant station head Jo and sad widower Lawrence, respectively. Gary and Kareshma, paramedics with radically opposed professional outlooks, are played by Adrian Scarborough (Gavin and Stacey) and Aasiya Shah (Raised By Wolves), respectively, and Kevin Garry (Ted Lasso) are played by Adrian Scarborough (Gavin and Stacey) and Aasiya Shah (Raised By Wolves).

Bloods Season 2 will launch Wednesday 16 March on Sky Comedy and NOW.
